What this site keeps about you, and what it does not.
In your browser
While you shop, your cart is kept in your browser under the names lfn-cart and lfn-cart-keep: the pastries in it, how many of each, and the box you are filling, so it is still there when you come back. While you order, the browser also keeps a code you typed, the order you just placed for the thank-you page, and one random number that stops an order from being sent twice. Nothing else is kept in your browser.
What this site does not do
It sets no cookies. It uses no outside analytics and no advertising. It loads no fonts, scripts or pictures from other sites. There are no accounts to create.
Counting visits
Like every web server, ours writes a log of the pages it sends. Visits are counted on our own server, from that log, as daily totals that identify nobody: pages, country and device. The log used for the count is kept for 48 hours. Requests refused as automated (bots) are counted the same way. Nothing is sent to Google or to any other company.
The forms
When you place an order or send a form, what you typed goes to the shop: your name, e-mail, phone, the delivery address and day, and your message. The shop keeps it on its own server to prepare and deliver your order and to answer you, and shares it with no one else.
Sharing a pastry
If you press Share on WhatsApp on a product page, WhatsApp opens with the address of that page. From then on it is WhatsApp’s service, not ours. Copy the link keeps everything on your own device.
